Deine Aufgaben

  • Du bist dafür verantwortlich, das Rückgrat unserer Plattform zu warten, auszubauen und zu verbessern.
  • Du arbeitest mit modernsten Cloud-Anwendungen wie Google Container Engine, Google Compute Engine.
  • Du erstellst und implementierst Microservices mit Hilfe von Docker und Kubernetes
  • Du arbeitest eng mit unserem Product Owner an der Auslieferung von Features, die unsere Kunden begeistern.
  • Du arbeitest in einem jungen und dynamischen Team von Fachkräften.
  • Du löst bestehende und anspruchsvolle Probleme für unsere Kunden.
  • Du schreibst sauberen, skalierbaren, wartbaren und gut lesbaren Code.
  • Du arbeitest synchron mit anderen Teammitgliedern, tauscht Wissen aus und machst Verbesserungsvorschläge.

Dein Profil

  • Du arbeitest selbstständig und ergreifst Initiative.
  • Deine Leidenschaft ist das Programmieren und Du beherrschst den Umgang mit neuen Technologien schnell.
  • Du verfügst über Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von kundenorientierten Produkten und setzt diese nutzerfreundlich und reibungsfrei um.
  • Du kennst Dich in mindestens einem aktuellen Frontend Development Stack aus (z.B. Vue.js, AngularJS, React).
  • Du bringst Erfahrung in der Java Backend-Entwicklung mit (Spring Boot, Vert.x).
  • Du zeichnest Dich durch Deine sorgfältige, zuverlässige und pragmatische Arbeitsweise aus und bist stets bestrebt, bestmögliche Lösungsansätze bei möglichst geringer technischer Schuld zu finden.
  • Du arbeitest gerne im Team und es liegt in Deinem Interesse, Dein Wissen mit anderen zu teilen, ohne dich dabei selbst in den Vordergrund zu stellen.
  • Du kennst Dich mit Aspekten der Performance und Skalierbarkeit von JavaScript aus.
  • Deine Begeisterung und Dein Engagement gelten den Werten der agilen Softwareentwicklung und Du verstehst Grundprinzipien wie Test Driven Development, Code Reviews und Continous Delivery.
  • Extra punkten? Kenntnisse der Konzepte von Suchmaschinen, im Bereich Verarbeitung großer Datenmengen und NoSQL.

YOUR TASKS

  • You will be responsible for maintaining, extending and improving the backbone of our platform 
  • You will work with state-of-the-art cloud applications like Google Container Engine, Google Compute Engine 
  • You will design and implement microservices to be deployed with Docker and Kubernetes 
  • You will work in close relationship with our product owner to deliver features that are loved by our clients 
  • You will work in a young and agile team of professionals 
  • You will solve existing and challenging problems for our customers 
  • You will write clean, scalable, maintainable and easy-to-read code 
  • You will work in sync with other team members, share knowledge and make suggestions for improvements 


YOUR PROFILE

  • You are self-driven and proactive 
  • You are passionate about programming and quickly pick up new technologies 
  • You have experience in developing customer-facing products and realize them easy-to-use and frictionless 
  • You have experience with at least one modern frontend development stack (e.g., AngularJS, React, Vue.js) 
  • You have experience with java backend development (Spring Boot, Vert.x) 
  • You are careful, reliable and pragmatic, always eager to find the best solutions while minimizing technical debt 
  • You like to collaborate with your co-workers and are interested in sharing your knowledge without developing a huge ego 
  • You are aware of performance and scalability ascpects of JavaScript 
  • You love and live the values of agile software development and understand basic principles like test-driven development, code reviews and continuous delivery 
  • Some aspects are not required but would be a plus: understanding of fundamental search engine concepts, Large data processing and NoSQL
  • You are fluent in German and English
