YOUR TASKS

  • You work with your team members, pass on your knowledge to others and recognise talent
  • You work with state-of-the-art frontend tools like React, Vue.js (preferred), Gulp, Babel, SASS, Spring Boot and more
  • You work in close relationship with our product owner and marketing team to deliver features that are loved by our clients
  • You solve existing and challenging problems for our customers
  • You write clean, scalable, maintainable and easy-to-read code
  • You can easily assess the scope and effort of tasks and transfer responsibilities to other team members in a reasonable way


YOUR PROFILE

  • You have got experience in developing customer-facing products and realize them easy-to-use and frictionless
  • You have got experience with at least one modern frontend development stack (e.g., Vue.js, AngularJS, React)
  • You are aware of performance and scalability aspects of JavaScript agile software development and understand basic principles like test-driven development, code reviews and continuous delivery
  • You have already gained experience with cloud platforms and micro frontends.
  • You are self-driven and proactive
  • You are passionate about programming and quickly pick up new technologies
  • You are careful, reliable and pragmatic, always eager to find the best solutions while minimizing technical debt
  • You enjoy working in a team and it is in your interest to share your extensive knowledge with others
  • You are fluent in German and English

  • You will be responsible for maintaining, extending and improving the backbone of our platform 
  • You will work with state-of-the-art cloud applications like Google Container Engine, Google Compute Engine 
  • You will design and implement microservices to be deployed with Docker and Kubernetes

  • You are aware of performance and scalability aspects of Java 
  • You are willing to take responsibility for our product

  • You like to collaborate with your co-workers and are interested in sharing your knowledge without developing a huge ego 
  • You love and live the values of agile software development and understand basic principles like test-driven development, code reviews and continuous delivery 
  • You feel comfortable working with UNIX environments and know your way around the command line 
  • Some aspects are not required but would be a plus: understanding of fundamental search engine concepts: Solr, Elasticsearch, Large data processing and NoSQL 
  • You are fluent in German and English

  • Conception, development and optimization of complex, innovative, web-based software solutions and services that are used daily by tens of thousands of users 
  • Software development with .NET / C# using latest backend and frontend technologies in an agile scrum team 
  • Solving technical and conceptual challenges such as continuous delivery and performance optimizations with a focus on user experience 
  • In close cooperation with the product owners you deliver features that our customers love

YOUR PROFILE

  • Strong aversion against bad code 
  • Enthusiasm for the development of software and the use of new technologies 
  • Fun and experience in designing, developing and maintaining sophisticated, scalable web applications 
  • You are at home in at least one backend development stack (e.g. Java, .NET) 
  • You have experience in the design, modelling and implementation of relational databases (e.g. MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) 
  • The term object-relational mapper (e.g. Entity Framework, Hibernate) is not a foreign word to you 
  • Your good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax and (Web) APIs is what sets you apart
  • You are fluent in German and English
